PLAY CHESS!
SUNDAY AFTERNOONS
USA TOWN CENTER, OPELIKA, ALABAMA

Got a couple of hours to spare on a Sunday? Spend them playing chess. With us! Casual chess—no pressure, just fun. Everyone is welcome, no matter your skill level. Just drop in between 2 and 4 PM any Sunday, well, MOST Sundays, depending on holidays. We promise it's more fun than it sounds.

FINDING US IS EASY

We play at USA Town Center, 1220 Fox Run Avenue in Opelika, located just around the bend from Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Just turn into the USA Town Center parking lot and head toward the back corner, where you'll see Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant. Enter the building there, and the break room—the first door on your left—is where you'll find us. (Look closely, 'cause we're a small group.)

SO COME SEE US!

Let's play some chess! Drop in and introduce yourself! We are always pleased to meet fellow woodpushers; whether you're a tournament warrior or just starting out, you'll fit right in! So come see us soon. Come see us Sunday! What's so dang important that you can't spare a couple of hours playing chess on a Sunday afternoon while making new friends? Seriously? Laundry? Bro!

Psst! You may wanna visit our current website while Randy's futzing around with this one. Trust me, he'll drag this out longer than a pawnless endgame with only a few minor pieces. You think you smell smoke? Well, you got that rght! Randy's gonna burn a bunch o' daylight giving this baby life, because, well… because it's Randy. He's slow. And he's old. He's very old! Bless his heart. He's the oldest chess player I've ever seen. Nonetheless… he said he wanted to do this. "A website? For a chess club!? How hard could that be?"
